WOMF: Date Night

Does anyone else go through phases where you're just not that fussed about makeup and then the next month you're all for it? Well, this month I'm all for experimenting with my make up! This is a look I wore earlier this week for a date night with my boyfriend, Craig.

So I figured it was about time I put together a WOMF (what's on my face) post. I love reading posts like this on other blogs but I've always been put off (purely for the fact that I'm not that great at applying make up). But hey ho, I thought I'd give it a bash anyway.
I'm all for working with my eyes at the minute. I'm normally super boring with eye makeup (a light wash of colour and maybe a slick of eyeliner) but I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone and try out some bolder looks.

BASE: Mix of Vichy Dermablend foundation and Dr Jart+ BB Cream // Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer // Bobbi Brown Corrector // Sleek Highlighter // The Body Shop Blush in '03' // Rimmel Setting Powder

EYES: Maybelline Color Tattoo in 'Permanently Taupe' // Urban Decay 'Snakebite' and 'Busted' Shadows // Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeliner in Black // L'oreal False Lash Telescopic Mascara // Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler

BROWS: Benefit Brow Zings in 'Medium' // Maybelline Brow Drama Mascara in 'Medium Brown'

LIPS: Revlon Matte Lipstick in 'Pink Pout' (aka my favourite nude pink lippie of all time!)

What have you been wearing lately?

  1. Hi there!

Thanks so much for leaving down a comment at my blog. Your advice certainly helps a lot. I do agree that writing lists helps to take things one step at a time so that things will not turn out so stressful. :)

Once again, thank you so much! xx

  2. Looks lovely! I'm like that too, sometimes I just can't be bothered with anything but the basics but other times I love messing out and experimenting, especially with my eye makeup

I really want to try out some of the Revlon matte lipsticks although i'm scared that they may be a little bit too drying for my lips~
