REN ClearCalm3 Replenishing Gel Cream

Have I finally found my holy grail of moisturisers? I suppose its too soon to tell - but REN's ClearCalm3 Replenishing Gel Cream is very close to making the cut.

I've been searching for a moisturiser to hydrate my combination/blemish prone skin for what feels like forever. I don't know why I hadn't turned to REN sooner as I love their clay cleanser (which, funnily enough is in the same range). Blended with a  mix of bio extracts it claims to correct hyper pigmentation, reduce sebum production and inflammation, calm and soothe the skin and protect the skin from UV rays.
You can use this morning and night but I tend to only apply this in the morning and use my serums/oils in the evening. It sinks into the skin quickly and instantly relieves any tightness without leaving an oily residue. It leaves my skin feeling so smooth that I find it to be the perfect base for my make up. I used to have trouble with makeup settling/highlighting dry areas - the main culprit being my nose - but since using this cream I've had no problems. I've not experienced any breakouts from using this either, which for my super sensitive skin is a rarity. Happy days!

  2. I've been trying the REN Global Protection Day Cream and I'm really enjoying using it, although I'm not to keen on the smell

    1. Ahh I had a sample for that a while back. It was a little bit too rich for my skin. The smell this one has isn't great either - but if it does the job hey ho! xx
