Hold the phone! NARS Sheer Glow is amazing as they say.
NARS Sheer Glow isn’t a foundation that ever appealed to me.
I've heard people rave on and on about it but the fact that the word ‘glow’
is in the title was enough to put me off for a few years.
If I’m honest, the main reason I decided to pick this up was
because I’d been browsing Em's Instagram. As soon as I realised that it’s the foundation she uses I went out on a whim and ordered a
bottle. I really struggle to find a good match for my super pale skin but
Siberia is the perfect match.
The formula isn’t too watery or too thick, it sits nicely in
the middle. I like to blend it with my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge but it works
equally as well with brushes (or fingers if you’re feeling like a rebel!). It gives a medium buildable coverage and creates a gorgeous healthy glow - think ‘lit from within’ not sweaty betty.
Prepare for photos of my naked face in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...
I'm sorry if these photos come out a tad bright - I didn't realise until I'd finished getting myself ready (rookie mistake!). Top left is my skin after I've cleansed/toned/moisturised, top right and bottom left is after I've applied NARS Sheer Glow (no concealer etc) and the bottom right is my finished face!

DeleteI've always wanted to try this foundation, but I was worried about spending so much money and it wouldn't live up to the hype. I think you may have just convinced me to try it, especially because Siberia is such a good match for you. I struggle finding foundations pale enough for my skin as well

The price put me off too but honestly I think it is so worth it! I absolutely love it, haven't stopped wearing it since I got my hands on it 4 months ago!

NARS sheer glow is such a great foundation! I need to re-buy it, I've been using Clinique Superbalanced makeup since it ran out, it's also very good!

Hey! :) If I'm honest I wear it daily.. (well, on make up days!). I haven't used anything else since I bought it. It is expensive so I understand why people like to save them for special occasions buttt... it works so well for me I feel like I can justify it!
