2013 Best Of: SKINCARE

I've tried and tested new hair, make up and skincare products this year with only a handful making the final cut into my 'inner circle'. If you're a regular reader of duggydimples then you'll know my skin acts like it should belong to a pubescent teenager and is more often than not having a freak out. I'm still warding off the nasty blighters but these are the top dogs that I've discovered this year to help me in my bid to salvage my skin.

Why I Couldn't Live Without My Tangle Teezer

If you hadn't already guessed I'm a huge fan of the 'Tangle Teezer'; I should have titled this post 'an ode to tangle teezers'. They are totally worth the hype.

HERO Product For Sensitive & Dry Skin

Well, hello there! Long time no speak. Starting a new full time job has seriously taken it out of me but I plan to organise and refresh over the New Year as I refuse to let my little blog baby sit on the back burner. So apologies for the radio silence on my part.

So, I'm super lazy when it comes to body care. I hardly ever moisturise and that's partly because anything (and I mean anything) I put on my legs would cause them to come out in a huge itchy rash - sexy I know. That being said, I think I've finally found my 'holy grail' body moisturiser, it's lovely to apply, sinks into the skin quickly, leaves my legs feeling super soft and doesn't irritate my skin at all.

I haven't been this excited about a product in a long time. You might be surprised to hear that it's a 'no frills' sorta thing but it works absolute wonders on my stupidly sensitive skin. Roll up, The Body Shop's Aloe Body Butter. It may not smell as appealing as the other body butters in the range (actually, it doesn't really have a scent at all) but if you have sensitive skin like me you might wanna check this out.

P.S. Just a heads up - The Body Shop currently have 2 for £16 on all body butters, scrubs and polishes.

All I Want For Christmas... Beauty Edition

1 // 2 // 3 // 4 //
I've had my eye on Urban Decay's All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray for some time now and after having a spritz of my friends a few weeks ago it's safe to say that it will be mine (at some point or another!). Anything that helps keep my make up in place gets a thumbs up from me. Now, you're probably all sick of me harping on about my troublesome skin by now but after hearing Jenny rave about the S5 Purity Serum it's been on my radar. It's pricey at £44 a bottle but if it works then it would definitely be worth it in my eyes.
After much deliberation on what two shadows should fill my MAC Quad I've settled on 'All That Glitters' and 'Wedge'. Both lovely, neutral and wearable shades that I know I'd use all the time. For my nails I'd love 'You Like Me, You Really Like Me' from Red Carpet Manicure; a gorgeous deep burgundy.

What's on your Christmas list this year?

P.S. My new job is going GREAT so far!

Life Lately... #6

I start my new job tomorrow! It'll be my first "proper" job - and by that I mean full time - ooh heck I feel so grown up. I'm super excited but the nerves are starting to kick in now too. Wish me luck! Life lately has mainly involved dieting (yawn), making the most of my free time with Craig n' family and getting ready for Christmas. I've been crazy organised this year so I've nearly finished shopping for gifts. Thank god. I hate shopping at this time of year, everyone just goes bonkers and the shops are always heaving.
Currently watching: The Walking Dead, Blacklist, American Horror Story, The Vampire Diaries, Revolution. Ok, ok, so I'm a series addict

Currently listening: London Grammar - Nightcall. I cannot get enough of this tune! I've been playing it on repeat for I don't-know-how-long. Perfect chill out music, have a listen!
